摘要
能动性是学习者二语学习成就的决定性因素,但学界对教材使用情境下学习者能动性的探讨有限。本研究采用质性个案研究方法,运用复杂动态系统理论探究了外语教材使用情境下学习者能动性的促生过程,对访谈、课堂录像、叙事、实物资料等多种来源数据进行分析,发现外语教材使用情境下学习者能动性系统是由个体系统、教学系统及社会文化系统构成的复杂嵌套系统,具有情境性及个体性特征。能动性的促生是系统要素变化产生扰动作用,经由初始态不断调适的自适应过程。本研究最后提出外语教材使用情境下学习者能动性涌现模型,揭示了系统要素间的相互作用机制,对教材使用研究及能动性研究具有一定的启示。
Agency is the decisive factor for learners'achievement,but there is yet very limited research on agency in the context of textbook use.This case study explores the emergent process of learner agency in the context of textbook use from the perspective of complex dynamic systems theory.Analysis of multiple sources of data reveals that in the context of textbook use learner agency system is composed of embedded sub-systems including individual systems,instructional systems,and sociocultural systems.This leaner agency system has the characteristics of situational sensitivity and individuality.The emergence of learner agency is the result of perturbations caused by changes in system elements and an adaptive process of continuous adjustment from an initial state.Finally,this study proposes a model for the emergence of learner agency in the context of textbook use,aiming to reveal the mechanisms of interaction between systems.This study provides valuable insights into future textbook research and agency study.
