摘要
社会心理因素是影响商务英语教师专业发展的重要因素。本研究以10多所本科院校商务英语教师为调查对象,采用相关量表考察其职业倦怠和教学效能感现状及其相关关系。研究结果表明:1)商务英语教师存在一定程度的职业倦怠,教学效能感水平较高;不同性别教师在人格解体维度、周课时数不同的教师在情感衰竭维度、不同职称教师在一般教学效能维度均具有显著差异;2)商务英语教师职业倦怠与教学效能感以及职业倦怠三个维度与教学效能感两个维度间均呈显著负相关;教学效能感两个维度显著预测职业倦怠。
Socio-psychological factors play a crucial role in business English teachers’professional development.This study reports an investigation into the current state and the relationship between business English teachers’job burnout and teaching efficacy.The participants are business English teachers from over 10 undergraduate institutions,and two questionnaires were administered to measure their job burnout and teaching efficacy.The results revealed that:(1)Business English teachers exhibited a certain degree of job burnout and a relatively high level of teaching efficacy.There were significant differences in depersonalization between men and women teachers,emotional exhaustion among teachers with different teaching hours per week as well as general teaching efficacy among teachers with different job titles.(2)A significant negative correlation was observed between business English teachers’job burnout and teaching efficacy as well as between the three dimensions of job burnout and the two dimensions of teaching efficacy.Additionally,the two dimensions of teaching efficacy significantly predicted the variance in job burnout.
