国外关于ChatGPT在图书馆应用的研究综述

Research Review on the Application of ChatGPT in Libraries Abroad

ChatGPT在图书馆具有广泛的运用空间,国外学者对其展开了大量研究,但是缺乏对这些文献的系统化梳理。有鉴于此,文章在Web of Science, Scopus等五大数据库进行了相关文献的检索,系统回顾了ChatGPT对图书馆发展的机遇与挑战,并总结了相关的应对策略。研究发现,ChatGPT在图书馆中有多元化场景运用、个性化服务生态构建与智慧化管理重塑等运用空间,但是又会给图书馆带来隐私泄露、馆员失业以及管理短板等挑战。为此,国外图情学界认为图书馆应当在适应性模态系统开发、多形态资源图谱构建、馆员素养更新迭代以及管理流程再塑等方面进行完善。这或可给我国图书馆运用ChatGPT技术提供一定的学术建议参考。

ChatGPT has wide application potential in libraries,and foreign scholars have conducted a lot of research on it,but there is a lack of systematization of this literature.In view of this,the paper conducted a search and analysis of relevant literature in five major databases,such as Web of Science and Scopus,to systematically review the opportunities and challenges of ChatGPT for library development and summarize the relevant response strategies.The study finds that ChatGPT can be used in libraries to diversify application scenarios,build personalized service ecosystems and reshape intelligent management,but it also brings challenges to libraries such as privacy leakage,librarian unemployment and management shortcomings.For this reason,foreign library and information science communities suggest that libraries should develop adaptive modal systems,build multimodal resource maps,update and iterate librarians′literacy,and reshape management processes.This may provide some academic suggestions for the use of ChatGPT in Chinese libraries.
