As an important force of local economic transformation and upgrading,the scientific research service of vocational colleges has gradually become a hot issue of social concern.In view of the current situation and existing difficulties of scientific research service of vocational colleges in local economic development,this paper deeply analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward a series of countermeasures that vocational colleges should meet the needs of local economic development,strengthen the top-level design,clarify the positioning of scientific research service,innovate the management system of scientific research service,and deepen the depth and breadth of scientific research service.These countermeasures can improve the scientific research service ability of vocational colleges,promote the transformation and upgrading of the local economy and industry research results provide reference for deepening the reform of vocational colleges to serve local economic development.
