高质量教师的供给迟疑:来自“双一流”建设高校毕业生和在校生的双重数据验证

Supply Hesitation of Highly Qualified Teachers:A Double-data Validation of Graduates and Undergraduates from A “Double First-class” University

摘要 高质量教师的需求需要高质量教师的供给,但作为高质量教师的供给侧,高水平师范院校本科生从教意愿不高和从教行为推迟的就业迟疑现象,暂未引起国内研究者的足够关注。基于一所“双一流”建设高校的毕业生行政数据和在校生调查数据,研究使用固定效应模型描述了本科生从教意愿和行为的相关特征。研究发现,男性、学术能力强、来自经济和社会发展水平较高地区的个体,毕业后推迟进入教师行业的可能性更高。外向型人格、职业认同感和教育信念强烈、参与支教活动的在校生,选择进入教师行业的意愿更高。关注并解决高质量教师的就业迟疑现象一方面要提高教师教育政策的精准性,另一方面要强化高水平师范院校职前培养的职业认同和实践能力。 The demand for highly qualified teachers requires the supply of highly qualified teachers, but as the export end of the supply of highly qualified teachers, the increasingly prominent phenomenon of hesitation in employment choice among graduates of high-level normal universities has not been paid enough attention by domestic researchers for the time being. Based on administrative data and survey data from a “Double First-class” university, the paper used a Fixed Effect Model to compare the differences in demographics, socio-economic backgrounds, academic and activity performance, and psychological attributes between those who enter the teaching profession after graduation from normal universities and those who do not. It was found that individuals who were male, academically competent, and whose birthplace was from a region with a higher level of economic and social development were more likely to not enter the teaching profession immediately after graduation. Undergraduates with extroverted personalities, a strong sense of professional identity and belief in education, and involvement in program bringing education underdeveloped areas during college had a higher likelihood of choosing to enter the teaching profession. The article suggests that focusing on and addressing the phenomenon of employment hesitation among highly qualified teachers requires improving the precision of teacher education policies and reinforcing professional identity and practice in the pre-service training.
