中华民族是推动中国建构的主体。“中国”自历史出场就由中华民族主体性呈现,中华民族推动着天下中国的书写与现代民族国家生成。从中华民族主体性观中国,中国是中华民族中国。中华民族追溯至何时,何时就是“中国”的;中华民族自古生存于何处,何处就是“中国”的。中国“自古以来”的国家叙事是基于史实的科学表述。
