The establishment and development of discipline inspection and supervision is an inherent requirement for improving the philosophy and social science system with Chinese characteristics,an important support for achieving high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision theory and practice,and an inevitable requirement for deepening the self-reform of the Party in the new era.Openness is a distinctive feature of discipline inspection and supervision since its inception.The political nature of discipline inspection and supervision provides the premise and guarantee for openness,interdisciplinary nature constitutes the innate gene of openness,practicality is an important manifestation of openness,and the international exchange of theory and practice is the development requirement of openness.The construction of discipline inspection and supervision should avoid mystery and closedness,and always maintain openness in the development of discipline system,academic system and discourse system,build an independent knowledge system of discipline inspection and supervision with Chinese characteristics,provide more scientific and systematic theoretical support and sufficient talent guarantee for the construction of the Party and state oversight system,and enhance China’s international discourse power in power supervision and corruption governance.
