省属高校高分子材料与工程专业《塑料成型与模具设计》本科教学的理解和创新

The Understanding and Innovation in Undergraduate Teaching of Plastic Molding and Mold Design for Polymer Materials and Engineering Specialty in Provincially Administrated Universities

摘要 《塑料成型与模具设计》是高分子材料与工程专业的一门专业选修课,在实际教学中,面临着学生的基础知识不足、学习时间较少、重视程度和学习兴趣不高、教师对生产实际不熟悉等难题。针对这些问题,我们首先从高分子专业人才培养的角度,认为“理解塑料成型的基础知识,并将其用于指导塑料制品的设计和模具的设计”为本课程教学的核心,并据此确定教学要求。随后,通过建设虚拟仿真实验平台、采用多元的教学手段和布置递进的考核任务等措施,弥补理论教学与生产实际相脱节和教师对生产实际不熟悉等不足、降低学生的学习难度、提高学生的学习兴趣和效率、锻炼学生的知识应用能力、激发学生的想象能力、增强课程间的连贯性。课程的开设完成了既定的教学要求,得到了校级督导老师和学生的好评。我们的教学理解和创新对本专业或类似专业的其他选修课程具有一定的借鉴意义。 “Plastic molding and mold design”is a professional elective course of polymer materials and engineering specialty.In the actual teaching process,it is faced with problems such as students’absence of basic knowledge,less learning time,low degree of attention and interest in learning,and teachers’unfamiliar with the actual production.To solve these problems,we first regarded“understanding the basic knowledge of plastic molding,and use it to guide the design of plastic products and mold design”as the core of this course teaching according to the talent cultivation for polymer specialty,and then determined the corresponding teaching requirements.Then,through the construction of virtual simulation experiment platform,the use of multiple teaching methods,the arrangement of progressive assessment tasks and so on,we obtained achievements such as,making up the deficiencies including the disconnection between theoretical teaching and production practice and the lack of familiarity with production practice for the teacher,reducing students’difficulty for learning,improving their interest and efficiency for learning,exercising their ability of knowledge application,stimulating their imagination,and enhancing the coherence between courses.As a result,the teaching of this course accomplished the teaching requirements,and was highly appreciated by the school-level teaching supervisor and students.Our understanding and innovation in this course may also be applied to other elective courses for this specialty or other similar specialties.
