中华民族共同体意识是我国近代以来中华民族共同体追逐民族复兴梦想的生动反映和能动自觉。铸牢中华民族共同体意识具有鲜明的育人价值,在高校时代新人培养中有助于引导大学生坚定理想信念、激发使命担当精神、增强民族团结意识。这在我国近代以来高校新人培养中得到了实践验证,体现为以中华民族学说激发高校学生的新民蜕变、以独立自主为核心的民族精神激励无产阶级革命新人及“又红又专”新人养成、以锐意进取精神塑造“四有”新人。进入新时代,我国铸牢高校学生的中华民族共同体意识,需优化高校时代新人培养路径,即遵循为社会主义服务的育人价值,重点开展“四史”教育;以担当精神丰富育人目标,着重增强自信自强意识培育;以民族团结意识拓宽育人路径,着力加强社会主义核心价值观教育。
