中西交流视域下的“国立罗斯福图书馆”儿童教育(1946-1949)

摘要 作为民国时期中美关系重要象征之一的“国立罗斯福图书馆”,是一则可用于考察这一时期中西交流对我国公共图书馆儿童教育之影响的典型案例。研究发现,“国立罗斯福图书馆”儿童教育是图书馆社会教育职能的内在要求,也是儿童教育事业发展的现实需要。“国立罗斯福图书馆”通过多种方式开展儿童教育,这既离不开社会各界的提倡和图书馆负责人的重视,也深受中西文化交流的影响。且该馆儿童教育的兴起和衰落也与中外关系变化密切相关。 As one of the important symbols of China-US relations in the Republic of China era,the National Roosevelt Library is a typical case for the study of the impact of Sino-Western communication on children education of Chinese public libraries.Children education of the library was an inherent requirement of its social education function,as well as a practical need for the development of children education enterprise.With the advocation from public and the concern from managers,the library has conducted children education through multiple ways.The whole process has been deeply influenced by the background of the cultural exchange between China and the West,and the rise and decline of the library's children education was closely related to the changes of Sino-foreign relations.
