Objective To assess the short-term trauma severity of patients with gastrointestinal tumors by combined laparoscopic and endoscopic treatment. Methods 68 patients with gastrointestinal tumors were selected as the observation subjects, and were divided into an observation group(n=34)and a control group(n=34)according to random number table method. The control group was given traditional open surgery, and the observation group was given combined laparoscopic and endoscopic treatment. The trauma severity, inflammatory cytokine levels and clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results In the observation group, the incision length was(2.39±1.02)cm,which was shorter than(7.21±1.32)cm in the control group;the intraoperative blood loss was(34.96±5.96)ml,which was less than(65.13±5.12)ml in the control group;the visual analogue scale(VAS)score was(3.12±1.21)points,which was lower than(4.96±1.01)points in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had recurrence rate of 6.25% and complication rate of 2.94%,which were lower than 28.57% and 17.65% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional open surgery, the combined laparoscopic and endoscopic treatment in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors reduces the short-term trauma to the body, and patients have lower stress levels and mild immune suppression,so it has high safety in treatment.
