基于电波混响室技术的天线效率测量实验教学设计

摘要 为使学生深入理解天线辐射特性和电磁波传播机制,设计以电波混响室技术的天线效率测量为实验教学项目。首先讲授混响室的工作原理,基于统计理论给出混响室无线信道传输函数。其次介绍混响室参考天线法原理,给出该方法测量不确定度的统计分析方法。对2种不同类型的天线开展效率测试,分析其测量不确定度。通过实验案例教学,不仅可使学生理解天线的工作特性和电磁波的传播方式,掌握工程天线效率测量的混响室方法,帮助学生了解统计电磁交叉学科的概念及应用,激发学生对电磁及统计领域相关课程的学习热情。 To have a deeper understanding of the radiation characteristics of antennas and the propagation mechanism of electromagnetic(EM)waves,experimental cases of reverberation chamber(RC)based antenna measurements are proposed.Firstly,the working principle of RC is introduced,and the transfer function of wireless channel within RC is given based on statistics.Secondly,RC based reference antenna method(RAM)is introduced,and the statistical analyses of antenna efficiency measured using the RAM is exhibited.Finally,the efficiencies of two types of antennas are measured in practical RC,the associate measurement uncertainties are also analyzed.With the help of the proposed experimental cases,the students can not only understand the characteristic of antenna and propagation mechanism of EM waves,use RC technique to determine antenna efficiency,but also get acquainted with the concept and application of statistical electromagnetics,further stimulating students’enthusiasm for learning related courses.
