汉诗英译有数百年的历史,其间出现了很多译者,他们的翻译理念不同,翻译风格各异,都为中国诗歌的西传,做出了自己独特的贡献。纵观汉诗英译史上的众多译者,可总结出七种翻译模式:字译、格律体直译、格律体意译、自由译、散体译、创译、解构译等,每种模式都有自己的优点和局限性。

Through hundreds of years,C-E poetry translation has been undertaken by a great host of translators,with different translation ideas and different translation styles,who have made their own contribution to the dissemination of Chinese poetry into the Western world.A careful look into the history of C-E poetry translation enlightens us with,basically,seven ways of translation:word-for-word translation,metrical-literal translation,metrical-free translation,free-poetic style translation,prose translation,creative translation,and deconstruction translation,each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
