摘要
从认知语言学识解理论的四个维度出发,分析葛浩文《蛙》译本中的文化负载词在英译过程中的识解解读与重构,探究译者的认知模式。研究表明:译者在进行乡土文学文化负载词翻译时要激活与原作者相同的概念域背景;灵活进行译文视角的再选择;理解作者的突显意图,产出合适的译文表达;采用详略得当的语言表达形式描述原文信息。由此,进一步证实了认知语言学的识解理论对文学作品翻译过程的解释力,对中国文学翻译研究具有一定的指导意义。
Based on four dimensions of Construal Theory,this thesis takes Howard Goldblatt’s English Translation of Frog as an example in order to make the interpretation and reconstruction of culture-loaded terms in the process of English translation.Regularities are identified:Howard Goldblatt activates the same conceptual scope and background as Mo Yan;flexibly choose the perspective of translation;completely understands the author’s prominent intention and then produces translation;and uses detailed and appropriate language expression to describe the original information.Hence,it further proves the explanatory power of Construal Theory in the translation of literature,which has certain guiding significance for the study of literary translation in China.
