Against the backdrop of the rapid development of the power industry and the transformation of energy structure,smart grid technology has become the core of the future power system.Among them,relay protection,as a key link to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system,faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities in the smart grid environment.The article delves into the innovation of power system relay protection technology in the context of smart grids,with a focus on analyzing relay protection solutions based on big data and distributed technology,as well as the impact of these innovations on improving system safety and reliability.Through case analysis and empirical research,this article aims to propose a series of innovative strategies to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the development of smart grids.
