A Century-long Journey,Theoretical Connotation and Practical Requirements of Adhering to the People First

党的二十大报告高屋建瓴提出“六个必须坚持”的重要论断,而其中“坚持人民至上”居于首位,体现了中国共产党百年不变的初心使命,贯穿于百年党史的全过程,深刻回答了“中国共产党是什么、要干什么”的根本问题。作为马克思主义中国化时代化的重要理论成果,从方法论、价值论、历史观的维度看,坚持人民至上具有丰富的理论内涵和重要的现实价值。在强国建设、民族复兴的新征程,中国共产党必须始终坚持人民至上,汇聚蕴藏在人民中的无穷智慧和力量,紧紧依靠人民创造新的历史伟业。

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed an important assertion of "six-must-adhere".Among them,"adhering to the people first" ranks first,reflecting the unchanged mission of the Chinese Communist Party for 100 years and answering the fundamental question of "what is the Communist Party of China and what to do".As the important theoretical achievements of sinicizing and modernizing Marxism in China,from the perspective of the dimensions of methodology,value theory,and historical outlook,adhering to the people first owns rich theoretical connotation and important realistic values.In the new journey of building a strong country and national rejuvenation,the Communist Party of China must always adhere to the people first,gather infinite wisdom and strength hidden in the people,and rely on the people to create new historical outstanding achievements.
