The Miao’s unique ritual of “Pig Sacrifice” is a unique structure of order and symbolic concept built on their profound cultural accumulation, which has been continued with a relatively complete continuity from the beginning to the end.The “pig” in the ritual sacrifice builds a bridge between human and supernatural forces, and symbolically strengthens the community structure, which is an indispensable component in maintaining social cohesion and balance. The presentation of the ritual is a process of redistribution of resources,a repetition of the social order, and a strengthening of multi-ethnic integration, and in the evolution of the ritual,it crosses the traditional ritual function to realize the construction of multi-ethnic harmonious relations.
