Martin Oestreich Martin Oestreich is a Professor of OrganicChemistry at the TechnischeUniversität Berlin,Germany.He received his diplomadegree with Professor Paul Knochel at the Philipps-Universität Marburg,Germany in 1996 and his doctoral degree with Professor Dieter Hoppe at the Universität Münster,Germany in 1999.After a two-year postdoctoral stint(1999 to 2001)with Professor Larry E.Overman at the University of California,Irvine,USA,he completed his habilitation(2001 to 2005)with Professor Reinhard Brückner at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg,Germany and was appointed as Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Westfalische Wilhelms-Universität Münster,Germany(2006 to 2011).He also held visiting positions at Cardiff University,Wales,UK(2005),The Australian National University in Canberra,Australia(2010),and Kyoto University,Japan(2018).
