摘要
“家乡教师项目”是美国农村教师队伍建设的策略之一。作为美国“家乡教师项目”的形式之一,“得克萨斯州农村TechTeach2+1教师教育项目”旨在解决得克萨斯州农村优质教师短缺、保留以及促进教师队伍多样化的问题,并最终提高学生学业成绩。该项目以建立大学与学区间的积极伙伴关系、建立快速教师资格认证途径、拓宽优质本土预备教师供应渠道、为预备教师提供经济支持、为预备教师提供可持续专业发展作为实施策略,在优质农村教师的培养、供应以及留任方面成效显著。研究美国农村教师队伍建设的经验可以为我国提供启迪。
'Grow Your Own Teacher program'is one of the strategies for the American rural teacher education.One of the forms of this program is the'TechTeach Across Rural Texas:2+1 Teacher Education Program',which aims to address the shortage,retention,and diversity of high-quality teachers in rural Texas and,ultimately,to improve student academic achievement.The program's implementation strategy is to establish a positive partnership between universities and school districts,create a fast-track pathway to teacher certification,broaden the supply channel of high-quality local probationary teachers,and provide economic support and sustainable professional development for them.It has proven to be an effective approach to the preparation,supply,and retention of high-quality rural teachers,which can provide some enlightenment for Chinese rural teacher education.
