我国民办高校研究生教育发展历程与未来展望——基于政策文本分析的视角

The Development History and Future Prospects of PostgraduateEducation in Private Colleges and Universities in China

随着经济社会快速发展和教育体制改革不断深入,民办高校规模不断扩大,办学质量不断提高,现已成为我国高等教育事业的重要组成部分。部分民办高校办学层次不断提高,高水平大学不断涌现,为开展研究生教育打下了良好的基础。我国民办高校研究生教育发展历程分为三个阶段,即萌芽期、停滞期、探索期。我国最早开展研究生教育的民办高校主要包括教会学校和私人开办的学堂。随着全国五所民办高校以项目的形式开展专业硕士学位培养,从此开创改革开放以来民办高校培养研究生的先河。民办高校研究生教育在实践中逐渐形成了自己的特点,构建了独具特色的人才培养模式,建立了高质量的导师队伍,更加注重实践教学和能力培养。展望未来,民办高校将成为专业学位研究生教育的重要新生力量;民办高校有望突破博士学位研究生授予权;民办高校开展研究生教育是提升高等教育质量体系的重要抓手;支持与规范并举是未来民办高校研究生教育的基本遵循。

The development of postgraduate education in private colleges and universities in China is divided into three stages,namely,the budding period,the stagnant period,and the exploratory period.The earliest postgraduate education in private universities in our country includes missionary schools and private schools.With the development of professional master's degree training in the form of projects in five private colleges and universities across the country,it has created a precedent for private colleges to train postgraduate students since the reform and opening up.In practice,postgraduate education in private colleges has gradually formed its own characteristics,constructed a unique talent training model,established a team of high-quality tutors,and paid more attention to practical teaching and ability training.Looking to the future,private colleges and universities will become an important new force in postgraduate education for professional degrees;private colleges and universities are expected to make breakthroughs in obtaining the right to grant doctorate graduates.The development of postgraduate education by private colleges is an important means for improving the overall quality of higher education;support and regulation will be the basic principle for the future development of postgraduate education in private colleges and universities.
