《策展伦理》是一部富有哲学色彩的博物馆学理论著作。作者让-保罗·马蒂农以哲学理论为基础,在新的时代语境下进行有关策展的伦理学建构和阐述。全书主要分三部分,分别勾勒了伦理学的本体—存在论结构,列举了策展活动的行为方式及关于伦理的部分参量,探讨了与广义策展活动有关的伦理问题。基于策展在当下的伦理困境,作者提出:策展已不再局限于以视觉艺术为核心的观念性表达,而是突破了艺术、历史、文化等范畴,成为一种没有任何体制化界定的自由形式。策展包含着文化的参与、选择、安排,更带有策展人批判性的评价和分享,关联着一整套价值观、信仰、习俗和社会活动,可以在以视觉主导或非视觉主导的生命的各个领域开展。

Curating As Ethics is a philosophically rich work of museological theory.Based on philosophical theories,the author Jean-Paul Martinon constructs and elaborates an ethic of curation in the context of a new era.The book is divided into three main parts,outlining the ontological-existential structure of ethics,enumerating the behavioral modalities of curatorial activities and some of the parameters concerning ethics,and exploring the ethical issues related to curatorial activities in a broad sense.Based on the ethical dilemma of curation in the present,the author proposes that curation is no longer limited to conceptual expression centered on visual art,but rather has broken through the categories of art,history,and culture to become a form of freedom without any institutionalized definition.Curating encompasses cultural participation,selection,arrangement,and more so,critical evaluation and sharing by the curator,associated with a set of values,beliefs,practices,and social activities that can be carried out in all spheres of life,visually dominant or non-visually dominant.
