The writing dimension of Louise Glick is not limited to her own personal experience. She organically combines the identity anxiety of human beings with the poetic expression of artistic emotion, deeply analyzes the internal construction of anthropocentrism, and attempts to build a non-violent and non-dualistic relationship between humans and animals. The evolution of the images and status of animals in Glick's poems, from companion species to leader and rescuer of humankind, reflects her poetic thinking in different stages of creation. This is a thoughtful attempt by Gluck to explore a new form of poetics in the context of the Anthropocene, and to terminate the anthropological machine, the social and ecological significance of which deserves critical attention.
