With the development and popularization of big data,artificial intelligence has gradually penetrated into the field of education,especially in language learning and translation practice.This trend presents new challenges and opportunities forthe training of English translation talents.This paper aims to explore ways for universities to traincompound English translation talents in the era of artificial intelligence,andanalyse the development of machine translation andcurrent situation of college English translation talents,and propound new training strategies and teaching methods to provide inspiration and reference fortranslation teaching of English majors in universities.
