Student Associations Empowering Ethnic Colleges to Fostering a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation

铸牢中华民族共同体意识是新时代党的民族工作和民族地区各项工作的主线。民族高校是铸牢中华民族共同体意识的先锋阵地和优势场域,对于促进各族师生在空间、文化、心理、情感等各方面深度互动交融作用深远。学生社团是学校落实立德树人根本任务的重要渠道,是推动学生社会化、公民化的关键通道,是培育社会主义核心价值观、构筑中华民族共有精神家园的生动场所。民族高校学生社团对浸润中华民族共有精神家园、凝聚“四个自信”和增进“五个认同”价值共识,促进各族青年学子从思维、情感和实践解答好时代和社会“应用题”有着不可替代的独特作用。当前民族高校学生社团在党建引领、聚焦主线、理论建设、组织管理等方面还面临诸多挑战,应牢牢把握铸牢中华民族共同体意识的“时”与“势”,充分发挥学生社团的纽带作用、阵地作用和传导作用,聚焦主线统筹加强顶层设计与项目牵引、完善组织管理与把关考核、促进资源整合与实践创新,实现第一课堂与第二课堂相互促进、学校与社会相互补充、显性教育与隐性教育相得益彰的目标,真正释放学生社团效能,引导各族学生成为中华民族共同体的自觉认同者、坚定捍卫者、积极宣传者和主动实践者。

Fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is the mainline of the Party s ethnic work and works of ethnics regions in the new era.Ethnic colleges serve as the vanguard and advantageous field for educating and forging strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,which can facilitate profound interaction and integration among students and teachers in spatial,cultural,psychological,and emotional aspects.Student associations serve as important channels for schools to fulfill their fundamental mission of fostering virtue and nurturing talents.They are key channels for promoting students'socialization and citizenship,as well as dynamic venues for creating campus culture and constructing a spiritual home shared by the Chinese nation.Student associations in ethnic colleges play an irreplaceable and unique role in permeating the shared spiritual home of the Chinese nation,consolidating the"four confidences,"enhancing the"five identities,"and helping young students to address the challenges of the times and society in terms of thinking,emotions,and practices.At present,student associations in ethnic universities stil face many challenges in the guidance of party building,focusing on the main line,theoretical construction,organizational management and other aspects.Ethnic colleges should firmly grasp the"time"and"momentum"of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation,fully leveraging the role of student associations being links,platforms,and conduits.They should focus on the mainline,coordinate efforts to strengthen top-level design and project guidance,improve organizational management and supervision,promote resource integration and practical innovation,and achieve the goal of mutual promotion between the first classroom(traditional courses)and the second classroom(courses on quality education),complementary effects between schools and society,and synergy between explicit and implicit education.It can thus truly unleash the effectiveness of student associations,guiding students to become conscious supporters,active defenders,enthusiastic promoters,and dedicated practitioners of the Chinese national community.
