During the more than 60 years of Queen Victoria’s reign,British women’s wear has undergone changes in the Romantic era,the Crenoline era,the Basque era and the S-shaped era.This paper explores the trend of style changes in British women’s wear during the Victorian,summarizes the laws of stylistic evolution in women’s wear at that time,and analyzes three factors that influence this style evolution:scientific technology,lifestyle and social concepts.
