This article analyzes the application of color in Chinese painting creation.Firstly,it introduces the history,cultural background,and traditional concepts of color in Chinese painting,and then explores the role of color in Chinese painting creation,including emotional expression,artistic conception shaping,and expression techniques.Next,the techniques and methods of color application were introduced,including traditional pigments and color mixing techniques,color stacking and rendering methods,as well as the handling of color contrast and balance.Subsequently,the specific practice of color application was demonstrated through typical case analysis,and a comparison of color application in different styles and schools was discussed.Finally,the color innovation in contemporary Chinese painting was discussed,including the application of new materials and technologies,as well as the influence of Western color theory on Chinese painting.
