江苏常州新北区蒋家墩遗址周代遗存发掘简报

Excavation of Zhou Dynasty Remains at Jiangjiadun Site in Xinbei District,Changzhou.Jiangsu

2017年9—12月,南京博物院、常州市考古研究所对蒋家墩遗址开展了考古发掘。遗址上层为周代遗存,清理了环壕、灰坑、灰沟等遗迹,出土了一批陶器、石器和原始瓷器。环壕外侧的灰沟内出土大量半成品石器和磨石等遗物,推测存在一处石器加工场。遗址与镇江大港吴国遗址群相距不远,为研究吴文化聚落的分布与内部形态提供了新的材料。

From September to December 2017,the Nanjing Museum and the Changzhou Municipal In-stitute of Archaeology conducted excavations at the Jiangjiadun Site.The upper layer of the site contains Zhou Dynasty remains including ring ditches,ash pits,and ash trenches.A collection of pottery,stone wares,and protoporcelain was unearthed.Within the ash trenches outside the ring ditch,numerous semi-finished stone wares and grinding stones were found,suggesting the presence of a stone ware processing workshop.The site is not far from the Wu Kingdom sites in Dangang,Zhenjiang,providing new materials for studying the distribution and internal structure of Wu culture settlements.
