The new quality productive forces are the innovation and development of Marxist political economy in the new era and the systematic extension of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialist Economy with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s proposal to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces is a profound reflection on setbacks and humiliations suffered by China since modern times when its modernization fell behind from the perspective of big history and is also a systematic summary of the experience and enlightenment from the road to modernization and the rise of world powers.
