The Body Philosophy in Traditional Tibetan Medicine and Its Modern Dimensions

传统藏医学身体哲学思想与苯教文化、藏传佛教文化具有一定渊源,同时也汲取了中医哲学思想对于身体的认识。传统藏医学以三因学说和五源学说为基础,在天人观、形神观中详细论述了身体与精神、身体与疾病等方面的关系。这使其身体哲学思想除具有朴素唯物论和朴素辩证法的色彩之外,还体现出浓厚的整体观、系统论特征,蕴含着打破主客体二元性的现代哲学向度。因此,对之予以创新性转化有助于推进藏医学转向“生物心理社会”医学的现代模式,能够对藏族地区医疗卫生事业的现代化、实现健康中国战略起到积极作用。

The philosophical thought of the body in traditional Tibetan medicine has certain origins in Bon culture and Tibetan Buddhist culture,and also draws from the understanding of the body from traditional Chinese medicine philosophy.Traditional Tibetan medicine is based on the theories of three causes and five sources.It elaborates on the relationship between the body and spirit,as well as the relationship between the body and diseases in the views of heaven and man,body and mind.Its body philosophy of traditional Tibetan medicine not only exhibits traits of naive materialism and naive dialectics,but also demonstrates a strong holistic view and systems theory characteristics,embodying a modern philosophical dimension that transcends the subject-object dualism.Therefore,innovative transformation of it can help advance Tibetan medicine towards a modern model of"biological-psychological-social"medicine,and play a positive role in the modernization of medical and health services and the implementation of the Healthy China strategy in Tibetan areas.
