Introduction of MA Yunzhi's Experience in Diagnosis and Treatment of Motor Neuron Disease

介绍马云枝教授诊治运动神经元病的临床经验。马云枝教授认为,运动神经元病主要由先天禀赋不足,后天失养所致。其病位在肌肉筋脉,与脾胃、肝、肾相关,病性以虚证为多,虚实夹杂者亦不少见。诊治运动神经元病通过辨别疾病病程分期、脏腑病位、标本虚实、病情轻重,以及常证变证,进而分别从湿热、脾胃、肝肾及痰瘀诸方面对运动神经元病进行辨证论治,治法分别有清化湿热、通利筋脉,补脾益胃、健运升清,滋补肝肾、滋阴清热,温补脾肾、强壮筋骨,益气养营、活血化瘀。

This paper introduces Professor MA Yunzhi's clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment of motor neuron disease.Professor MA believes that motor neuron disease is mainly caused by deficiency of congenital endowment and acquired loss of nutrition.The location of disease is in the muscles and sinews,related to the spleen,stomach,liver and kidney.The nature of disease is mainly deficiency syndrome and deficiency-excess complex is not uncommon as well.In diagnosing and treating motor neuron disease,Professor MA identifies the disease course and stage,disease location of zang-fu organs,deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality,severity of disease,as well as transmuted patterns of common syndromes to treat motor neuron disease based on syndrome differentiation from the aspects of damp-heat,the spleen and stomach,the liver and kidney,and phlegm and stasis.The treatment methods include clearing and removing damp-heat,unblocking sinews and vessels,supplementing the spleen and boosting the stomach,transporting and lifting lucid yang,enriching and nourishing the liver and kidney,nourishing yin and clearing heat,warming and supplementing the spleen and kidney,strengthening sinews and bones,boosting qi and nourishing nutritive qi,and invigorating blood and dissolving stasis.
