男女性别纷争一直是一个经久不衰的话题,15—17世纪,一直有零星的英国妇女从《圣经》中找寻男女平等的依据,并试图用宗教术语对女性劣根性的言论给予反驳,英国传统父权制社会中女性的隐形身份在近代早期被打破。17世纪的英国,厌女者及反厌女者在文化领域展开的纷争备受关注。以往学者对近代早期英国的研究中,鲜少将目光投射在该时期文化领域展开的性别纷争上,与之相关的研究少之又少。故该文以近代早期英国文化领域展开的性别纷争为例,以期展现该时期英国社会的图景,并为相关研究提供参考。

The gender dispute between men and women has always been an enduring topic.From the 15th to the 17th century,sporadic British women sought evidence of gender equality from the Bible and attempted to refute the notion of female inferiority in religious terms.The invisible identity of women in traditional patriarchal societies in England was broken in early modern times.In 17th century England,the cultural disputes between misogynists and anti misogynists received much attention.In previous studies on early modern England,few scholars have focused their attention on gender disputes in the cultural field during this period,and there have been very few studies related to it.Therefore,this article takes the gender disputes in the early modern British cultural field as an example,in order to showcase the landscape of British society during this period and provide reference for related research.
