苏州市语言景观的多维度调查问卷分析

A Cross-Sectional Study of Language Landscape in Suzhou

语言景观是城市公共空间进行公开性展示的语言符号,有着传递信息的作用,是不可或缺的。该文旨在探究公共空间中的语言景观所体现的信息功能和象征功能,助力城市形象塑造和苏州文旅发展。研究通过文献回顾、实地考察揭示苏州语言景观的现状及存在的问题。该文针对留学生、本地市民、外地游客三大群体设计不同问卷,涵盖苏州市热门A级景点及红色旅游路线的语言景观的可见性、指示性、美观性、多功能性和满意度等多个维度,反映不同人群对苏州语言景观的看法及整体趋势,并结合访谈,得出语言景观中公共服务性与商业性的矛盾以及规范性和国际性的欠匹配等结论,为整合市容市貌提出建议。

Language landscape is a language symbol for public display in urban public spaces,which plays an indispensable role in conveying information.The aim of this article is to explore the information and symbolic functions reflected in language landscapes in public spaces,in order to assist in shaping urban image and promoting the development of Suzhou's cultural and tourism industry.The study reveals the current situation and existing problems of Suzhou language landscape through literature review and field investigation.This article designs different questionnaires for the three major groups of international students,local citizens,and tourists from other places,covering the visibility,indication,aesthetics,multifunctionality,and satisfaction of the language landscape of popular A-level scenic spots and red tourism routes in Suzhou.It reflects the views and overall trends of different groups of people on the language landscape of Suzhou,and combines interviews to draw conclusions on the contradiction between public service and commercialization in the language landscape,as well as the lack of matching between standardization and international standards.Suggestions are proposed for integrating the city's appearance.
