Slatistics showed that at least 3.5 million cancer patients sufered from cancer pain every year.At present,opioids have become the standard treatment for moderate to severe cancer pain.However,studies have shown thatopioids have immunosuppessive ffcts.With the wide application of immunotherapy in a variety of advanced malignant tumors,the ffect of opioids on the eficacy of immunotherapy in patients with cancer pain has also received extensive attention from researchers.This article discusses the links between opioids,the function of immune system,andimmunotherapy efficacy.
