摘要
以新型人机共生关系为研究视角,对中国学生在外语学习中如何使用机器翻译并进行译后编辑进行分析研究。研究结果表明:大多数受试者既不能识别也不能纠正遗漏、拼写、单位转换、功能词、术语和词序等方面的错误,这说明机械翻译译后编辑并非易事;中国学生在老师的指导帮助下,通过学习特定的译后编辑技能,译后编辑的质量会得到显著提高。
It analyzed how Chinese students use machine translation and perform post-editing in foreign language learning from the perspective of a new type of human-machine symbiosis.The results indicated that most participants are unable to identify or correct errors related to omissions,spelling,unit conversion,function words,terminology,and word order.This demonstrated that machine translation post-editing is not an easy task.The results also showed with the guidance and help of teachers,Chinese students can significantly improve the quality of their post-editing by learning specific post-editing skills.
