Traditional Chinese medicine preparations in hospitals are usually derived from the agreement prescriptions of famous old Chinese medicine,drugs used in scientific research projects or clinical specialty agreement preparations,which meet the needs of the pharmaceutical commercial market.The quality of hospital preparation is directly related to the quality of medical treatment and the life safety of patients.Hospital preparations must adhere to the principle of"quality first",and every link from procurement to use must be strictly controlled.This paper discussed the factors affecting the quality of Chinese medicine prepara⁃tions in hospitals,the problems in production and the effective control methods to ensure the safety and effectiveness of hospital medicine.
