G4215 Rongzun Expressway(Sichuan section)expansion project uses airborne Lidar to detect complex surface quickly and accurately,which can not only ensure the normal operation of the expressway,but also ensure obtained high-precision mapping rapidly.In this paper,the principle and application of airborne Lidar technology are discussed in detail,and the application of airborne Lidar technology in engineering survey is discussed in detail around the project area.
