The Orphan of Zhao,a Chinese play of the Yuan dynasty,presents a superposition effect through the repeated appearance of similar scenes,the contrast of related scenes,and the connection and echo of the scenes in the preceding and subsequent parts of the play.Through this means of artistic expression,the work devoted much space to describing people and narrating,visualized the depiction of emotions,and enriched the implication of some silent moments in the play.
