Citywalk,as an urban practice popular among young people, represents contemporary youth's effort to foster a positive"people-place"relationship.Based on the dimensions of place dependence, place identity, and place attachment in the theory of sense of place, this paper conducts in-depth interviews with 18 young Citywalk enthusiasts with local roaming experience to explore the dynamic connection between local youth's roaming practices and the city. The study found that the formation of a sense of place depends on continuous embodiment, accumulation of experience, and social interaction within the place.Specifically,Citywalkers can enhance local dependence through physical practice.Secondly,a cycle of local identity is formed through identification with local memory, locality, and clear identity in media presentation. Finally,it is evident that the media does not directly influence the disappearance or reconstruction of the sense of place but affects it in various ways, such as aiding in memory writing, clearly presenting the relationship between people and places, and aggregating communities to promote emotional attachment.
