The traditional building construction can not support the self weight and construction load of the upper structure of the building well,which is easy to cause wall cracking.Therefore,this paper through the analysis of the basic principle and characteristics of top-down method,to understand its application advantages in housing construction engineering;The preparation before construction,construction process,key technical problems and solutions are described in detail.As a supporting structure bearing the weight and construction load of the superstructure during construction,the top-down construction method is the most advanced construction technology for high-rise buildings,which is worth popularizing.
