反思与重构:从中国古代序跋看“副文本”理论的更新

Reflection and Reconstruction:A Review of the Renewal of"Paratexte"Theory from the Perspective of Ancient Chinese Prefaces

摘要 热奈特提出的副文本理论进入中国后很早即用于现当代序跋研究且形成热点,古代序跋研究对此理论却始终若即若离。本文通过分析副文本理论下中国古代序跋研究呈现的多种状貌,发现目前研究实践与理论存在严重错位问题,认为“理论旅行”过程中译介的差误是问题产生的重要原因。回到理论关键概念的词语构成和理论生成的原初语境,重新厘清“副文本”自身蕴含的“附属”与“超越”的复杂意义,有助于中国古代序跋研究和副文本理论的深度融合,而中国古代序跋的经验亦能扩充和更新此理论。最后,本文尝试在中国本土文学与西方异质理论、古典与现代之间寻得动态平衡,重构对中国序跋更富阐释力和可操作性的“新版”副文本理论。 The“Paratexte”theory proposed by Gérard Genette entered China early and was quickly applied to the study of modern and contemporary prefaces,becoming a research hotspot.The application of this theory to the study of ancient Chinese prefaces has always been somewhat elusive.Through an analysis of the various manifestations of ancient Chinese prefaces under the“Paratexte”theory,this paper reveals a serious misalignment between current research practices and theories.It argues that translation errors during the process of“theoretical travel”are a significant cause of the problem.Returning to the lexical composition of key theoretical concepts and the original context of theoretical development,the paper seeks to clarify the complex meanings of“subsidiary” and“transcendent”inherent in the term“paratexte”.This clarification contributes to a deeper integration of the study of ancient Chinese prefaces with"paratexte"theory,while the experiences of ancient Chinese prefaces can enrich and update the theory.Finally,the paper attempts to find a dynamic balance between indigenous Chinese literature and heterogeneous Western theories,as well as between classical and modern contexts,in order to reconstruct a“new version”of“paratexte”theory that offers a more interpretative and operational framework for understanding Chinese prefaces.
