As long as the Yellow River is peaceful,the whole of China will be peaceful.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has proposed the great strategic decision on the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.The theoretical innovations and practical explorations of the ecological protection and governance of the Yellow River Basin under the leadership of the party in the new era contain profound logic,which have developed the Marxist thought on the relationship between human and nature and the ecological view of the Chinese style modernization,carried forward the ecological wisdom and water management concepts in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,inherited the experience and methods of the CPC of governing the Yellow River in the last one hundred years,and are based on the need to scientifically push forward the practice of ecological protection and governance of the Yellow River Basin in the new era.They contain valuable experience and enlightenment,including insisting on the fundamental position of the supremacy of the people,integrating the holistic governance of the whole river basin,taking the modern road of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature,and inheriting and carrying forward the Yellow River culture.And they enrich and develop Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization,provide the fundamental guideline for promoting the practice of ecological protection and governance of the Yellow River Basin,and contribute China's wisdom in solving the problems of global ecological governance and creating a new form of human civilization.
