Digital Economy Helps Achieve Agricultural and Rural Modernization:Based on the Perspective of E-commerce

数字经济是推进乡村振兴战略的重要途径,更是实现农业农村现代化的重要抓手。基于电子商务视角,在剖析电子商务对农业农村现代化影响机理的基础上,着眼于新发展阶段农业农村现代化目标,构建农业农村现代化指标体系,并运用2014—2021年省级面板数据,采用面板数据模型实证分析了电子商务对农业农村现代化的影响以及其异质性。研究发现:电子商务发展对农业农村现代化发展具有显著的正向影响。机制分析表明,农业现代化、农村现代化以及农民现代化是重要的中介传导机制。异质性研究发现,中西部地区电子商务对农业农村现代化影响更为明显。

Digital economy is an important way to promote the rural revitalization strategy and an important starting point to achieve agricultural and rural modernization.Based on the perspective of e-commerce,on the basis of analyzing the influence mechanism of e-commerce on agricultural and rural modernization,focusing on the goal of agricultural and rural modernization in the new development stage,an index system of agricultural and rural modernization is constructed,and using provincial panel data from 2014 to 2021,a panel data model is used to empirically analyze the impact of e-commerce on agricultural and rural modernization and its heterogeneity.The study found that the development of e-commerce has a significant positive impact on the development of agricultural and rural modernization.Mechanism analysis shows that agricultural modernization,rural modernization and farmer modernization are important intermediary transmission mechanisms.Heterogeneity research found that e-commerce in the central and western regions has a more obvious impact on agricultural and rural modernization.
