电商平台使用与农村家庭负债--基于微观调查数据的实证研究

The Impact of E-commerce Platform Usage on Household Debt in Rural Areas--Empirical Research Based on Micro Survey Data

随着数字技术的普及和网络普及率的不断提高,电子商务平台在农村地区逐渐崭露头角,成为推动农村经济变革的一项重要力量。本文利用中国家庭大数据库和中国家庭金融调查数据,探讨了电商平台使用对农村家庭负债水平的影响。研究结果表明,农村家庭通过电商平台销售农产品显著提高了家庭的杠杆率。其中,生产规模的扩大和资金周转率的提升是影响家庭杠杆率的关键机制。电商平台的使用促进了生产经营规模贷款需求和持有的增加,同时缩短了回款周期并降低了逾期风险,且未对农户的信贷利率和违约风险产生负面影响。异质性分析揭示,在中西部地区和市场分割程度较高的地区,电商平台使用对家庭杠杆率的影响更加明显。此外,受教育水平较高和风险厌恶程度较低的家庭在使用农村电商平台后承担负债的能力显著提高。

With the widespread adoption of digital technology and the continuous increase in internet penetration,e-commerce is gradually gaining prominence in rural areas of China,becoming a significant force driving economic transformation in these regions.This paper utilizes Chinese Family Database and China Household Finance Survey data to delve into the influence of e-commerce platform usage on the level of household debt in rural areas.The research findings indicate that the sale of agricultural products through e-commerce platforms significantly increases the leverage of rural households.The expansion of production scale and improvement in financial conditions are identified as key mechanisms leading to the rise in household leverage.The use of household e-commerce platforms encourages a proactive inclination to expand debt,seizing more business opportunities and engaging in additional investments.Heterogeneous analysis reveals that in the central and western regions,as well as areas with stronger market segmentation,the impact of e-commerce platform usage on household leverage is more pronounced.Furthermore,households with higher education levels and lower risk aversion experience a more significant increase in debt levels after using rural e-commerce platforms.
