As the quality of life improves,the customized home furnishing industry is flourishing,and consumers are in‐creasingly seeking personalized,multi-sensory comfortable home spaces.Reconstituted decorative veneer,as a sustain‐able material,is widely used in interior environments.While the visual characteristics of these materials have been extensively studied and matured,there is a notable gap in exploring its other sensory dimensions.In order to meet the market demands,businesses and researchers are continuously introducing new technologies and seeking innovative points,focusing on the tactile,olfactory,and auditory sensory characteristics of wood veneer.By reviewing the current process‐es and market trends of reconstituted decorative veneer,as well as the research on visual characteristics,this study summarized the key dimensions and progress of multi-sensory perception in wood veneer research,providing a theoretical framework and practical insights for the design,production,and application of these materials.In the future,it is suggested to establish an effective multi-sensory perception evaluation system for scientifically assessing veneer materials that integrates multi-sensory interactions,production technologies,and aligns with contemporary trends to actively incorporate new technologies that will substantially benefit business.
