[Purpose/significance]As digital humanities projects and outcomes continue to emerge, many digital humanities projects face significant challenges in terms of long-term archiving, sustainable access, and data reuse.Exploring solutions and experiences to help restore or maintain sustainable access and reuse of digital humanities data is of great significance for the construction of public data infrastructure in digital humanities.[Method/process]This paper adopts an evidence-based approach based on the Internet Archive to conduct an exploratory analysis of four programs:RESTORE,Sustainable Digital Scholarship,King’s Digital Lab,and Cambridge Digital Humanities Lab.We collect data using the Internet Archive and its web information tracing tool, the“Wayback Machine”,and then use content analysis to conduct data analysis from three perspectives of technology, manpower and finance.[Result/conclusion]This study summarizes the infrastructure support required to achieve sustainable access and reuse of digital humanities data.It also distills six research insights to inform the construction of a public data infrastructure for digital humanities in China.
