从焦点到情态:评注标记“等于说”的功能实现及其路径问题

From Focus to Modality:The Function Realization and Evolutionary Path of the Commentary Marker Dengyushuo(等于说)

从现有语料来看,“等于说”是从偏正短语副词化而来的一个评注标记。文章的主要观点是,“等于说”的核心功能来自焦点运作,带有篇章衔接、焦点凸显、预期标记、情态表达等特征,在语义形式上通过焦点算子把左界命题运算化。“等于”自身的语义分流和对“X说”带来的隐喻认知框架进行焦点分析,形成了我们今天所看到的“等于说”。文章拟解决的核心问题是“等于说”的环境焦点特征、焦点与其功能实现的关系及其作用、焦点在路径演化中扮演的角色。

According to the existing corpus data,dengyushuo(等于说)is regarded as a commentary marker from the adverbialization of positive phrases.This paper holds the view that the core function of dengyushuo(等于说)comes from the operation of focus.In terms of pragmatic function,it has the characteristics of textual cohesion,focus prominence,expectation-marking and the expression of cognitive modality,with the calculation of the left-bound proposition in semantic form through operators.The semantic diversion of dengyu(等于)and the focus analysis of the metaphorical cognitive framework brought by X-shuo(X说)form the dengyushuo(等于说)that we use today.The core issues to be solved in this paper are the characteristics on the focus of dengyushuo(等于说)in various syntactic environments,the relationship between focus and its function realization,and the role of focus in its path of development.
