在图书馆里

In the Library

今天是星期天。早饭后,我去公共图书馆看书了。一走进阅览室,我看到里面都是人。尽管阅览室很大,但还是满足不了热情的读者。在他们当中有许多年轻人,有相当多的中年人,甚至还有老年人。有些人连位子都没有,只好站着阅读。尽管很拥挤,但阅览室里却非常安静。每个人都在聚精会神地学习。

It is Sunday today.I went to the public library to do some reading after breakfast.Getting into the reading room,I found it was full of people.Though the room was quite large,it was not large enough to hold all enthusiastic readers.Among them were many young people,and quite a few aged middle-aged people or even elderly people.Some were reading without seats.In spite of the fact that it was very crowded,it was very quiet.Everyone was studying attentively.
