民族学著作在中国的译介与传播研究综述:现状、反思和展望

A Review of Studies on Translation and Dissemination of Ethnological Works in China:Status Quo,Reflection,and Prospect

中国民族学是发轫于西方的近代新兴学科,其创立及发展与民族学著作在中国的译介及传播相生相伴。本研究首先简略梳理民族学著作在中国的百年译介和传播脉络,继而考察分析了翻译学界和民族学界相关研究成果:翻译学界以译史研究和译家研究为主,民族学界研究成果集中于书目汇编和学科史中的译事记载。在文献梳理与分析基础上,反思了现有研究成果在成果质量、研究范围、研究视角等方面的局限,并从宏观研究、微观研究、学术环境、学术担当等维度展望未来研究方向。

Chinese ethnology is a discipline introduced from the West and its establishment and development have been closely intertwined with the translation and dissemination of ethnological works in China.This paper first briefly outlines the Chinese translation history of ethnological works since the beginning of the 20th century and then investigates and analyzes the existing studies related to the Chinese translation of ethnological works respectively in translation studies community and ethnology community.It is found that the translation studies community primarily focuses on studies of translation history and ethnological translators,while the ethnology community's research achievements are concentrated on bibliographic compilations and the descriptions of translation facts in disciplinary history.Based on the literature review and analysis,this paper reflects on the limitations of existing studies in terms of quality,scope,and perspective,and looks into the future research direction from the dimensions of macro-research,micro-research,academic environment,and academic responsibility.
