Let the Living Fossils Survive and Thrive

古树名木历沧桑,层层年轮记兴旺。2023年江苏省盐城市深入贯彻落实习近平生态文明思想,启动盐城全市百年以上古树名木专题调研行动,深入11个县(市、区)乡镇农村,对157棵百年以上古树名木开展实地普查,按照“一树一档案,一树一标志,一树一故事,一树一照片”等基本原则,对全市古树名木开展全面抢救保护,着力打造生态文明建设的盐城样板。

In 2023,Yancheng City of Jiangsu Province launched a special city-wide project to put Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Conservation into action.The goal is to conduct an inventory of ancient and precious trees that are at least 10o years old.A task force of this project visited vllages and towns across the city's 11 counties(including districts and county-level cities).
