FDI对欠发达地区城乡融合发展水平影响研究——基于中部六省的实证分析

Influence of FDI on the Level of Urban-rural Integration in Developing Regions:A case Study of Six Central Provinces of China

为探讨欠发达地区外商直接投资(FDI)对城乡融合发展水平的影响,在对影响机制进行理论分析的基础上,以我国中部六省为例,基于2005—2022年的面板数据,利用熵值法对城乡融合度进行测算,运用系统GMM模型对两者相关性进行实证研究。结果显示,FDI对城乡融合发展水平的影响呈现正U型的非线性曲线关系,最低点所对应的FDI额度为54.68亿美元。为此,可以从提升农业现代化水平、引导外资合理布局以及加大对农村经济社会发展支持力度等层面采取具体措施,充分发挥FDI对城乡融合进程的促进作用。

In order to explore the impact of foreign direct investment(FDI)on the level of urban-rural integration in developing regions,this paper takes six provinces in central China as an example,based on the theoretical analysis of the impact mechanism,and the panel data from 2005 to 2022,the systematic GMM model is used for empirical research.The results show that the influence of foreign direct investment on the urban-rural integration development level presents a positive U-shaped nonlinear curve relationship,and the lowest point corresponds to FDI quota of 5.47 billion US dollars.Therefore,we can give full play to the role of FDI in promoting urban-rural integration from the aspects of accelerating the process of urban-rural economic integration,guiding the rational distribution of foreign investment and increasing rural policy support.
